The San Reims transhumance is one of the most beautiful traditional festivals of our beautiful region. It is an ancient spring on or flocks of sheep go to the green pastures of the Alps. Each year this celebration allows all breeders and their herds to meet and to march in the city center of Saint-Rémy de Provence. Cattle, consisting of sheep, lambs, rams, goats and donkeys is framed by shepherds dressed in their traditional clothes.
The parade begins in the morning around the city center and follows a host of activities including a garage and a cheese fair.
